According to Boston.com the top 20 Boys Soccer Team's in MAssachusetts are as follows:

1) Lexington
2) Framingham
3) New Bedford
4) Wilmington
5) Sandwich
6) Masconomet
7) Brockton
8) Canton
9) Reading
10) Hanover
11) North Andover
12) Duxbury
13) Catholic Memorial
14) Peabody
15) Cardinal Spellman
16) Lincoln-Sudbury
17) Nauset
18) Harwich
19) Brookline
20) Hopkinton

I do not know how accurate these rankings can be considering Peabody was not that good of a team this year. Masconomet lost a lot of talent last year as well. These rankings must be based on last years team and not on the team of 2009 becasue some of these teams should be ranked higher. For instance Catholic Memorial has a player supposedly going to Duke next year to play soccer. Also Danvers is a lot better than Peabody and should crack the top 20. Peabody was a much better team last year, so these rankings must be based on the quality of the 2008 team.

So Monday was my last soccer game of my high school career. I never thought the day would come so fast. I remember my freshmen year so vividly. I think we all take these four years for granted at some point. It is so bizarre to think that I'll never play GHS soccer again. The game was played at home vs. Danvers. They were a strong team. They were undefeated in our conference. They defeated us 1-0 on Monday in a very hard fought match. Before the game started the seniors presented their parents with flowers and took pictures with them. Their were a lot of fans that night. I could see an Italian flag being waved in the stands, from the field. I was sad after the game, but knew we played well. I shook hands and gave high fives to my teammates and told the juniors that the team was now theirs. I told them to keep the traditions of the team going and to keep fighting despite losing us seniors, and Coach Cook next season. I wish them luck in 2010.

So today is Tuesday, it's a half day at GHS (thank God), and it is currently long block Journalism. Today the blocks are ABDC, and I have a relatively easy schedule, besides Coach L. Of course he had to assign a whole chapter of physics homework last night. My class just finished chapter 6! It's a bit ridiculous how fast we go in that class because it is a CP1 class, at least I am doing well in it though.

Yesterday I had a soccer game vs. Marblehead, whom we tied for the second time this season. We just can't find the back of the net for whatever reason. Tomorrow we have another game, and Friday too. There are only 4 games left in our season unless we win at least 3 of them because then we will qualify for the state tournament. That is our goal because we know if we don't win our conference we can definitely contend in the tournament.

Anyways, today is a half day, like I said and I will hopefully go to Georges, where I will eat some sensational breakfast food. And by that I mean, don't go to George's because I will be there and I better have a table when I get there!

After going to george's for some food I will be going to Anthony La Rocca's house to work on a physics project with the lab group. In my lab group there is Anthony, Kyle Hurd, Ignacio Farjas, Christian Hernandez and myself. We are building rockets that we will shoot in a few weeks. That will be very interesting.

second blog-10/13/09-posted link

So lately I have been thinking about colleges and the applying process. It is really stressful. There is about six schools I am thinking about applying to but it may go up to about eight or ten. The major I am considering is Foreign Language Teacher Education, specifically Italian. I have been good with languages since before I can remember. I grew up speaking a mix of Italian and Sicilian. In sixth grade I took a year of French. In seventh and eighth grade I took Spanish. And in High School i took four years of Italian. Last year there was an Exchange Student from Germany who was here for the year that I became friends with and I picked up on some German. So i have a good background of languages.

10/9/09 first blog-regular blog

Today I am in school, and it is day 6. I still have six blocks left to go. I am going to my game against Catholic Memorial in Roxbury after school. The bus leaves at around 2:30 and we have to go up with the JV team and watch their game. While their game is going on we are going to have a Varsity Team picnic. That should be fun. The Catholic Memorial team is supposed to be really good, so I hope we win.

Today is Friday, so if I get back early enough I will go out with my friends. I will miss most of, if not, the whole football game.
